Programs

Program A is an exchange program through which UMAP participating institutions send and receive up to two students with tuition waivers each semester.

Program B is a negotiated bilateral exchange between two institutions that have agreed to exchange more than two students per semester.

Programs A and B follow a timeline that has two application cycles. Programs that are open for application only during the early or First application cycle are marked with .

Programs that are open for application only during the late or Second application cycle are marked with .

Programs that are open for application during both early/late or First and Second application cycles are marked with .

Program C consists of short-term programs of one to eight-weeks, for which tuition may be charged.

Virtual Programs are offered entirely online and may include both short-term and semester-long programs.

San Buena Summer School

The San Buena International Summer School 2026, organized by the University of San Buenaventura Bogotá in collaboration with the Central University of Costa Rica and Café Villa Real, presents the course “Circular Coffee: Innovation and Green Entrepreneurship.” From June 1 to 6, participants will experience a program that combines on-campus sessions with an immersive visit to a coffee farm in Curití, Santander. Throughout the course, they will explore how coffee residues—especially the coffee pulp—can be transformed into sustainable opportunities, gain firsthand knowledge of the coffee process from harvest to professional cupping, and work on topics such as circular economy, sustainability, and green entrepreneurship. The program includes lodging, partial meals, and a certificate of participation. El San Buena International Summer School 2026, organizado por la Universidad de San Buenaventura Bogotá en colaboración con la Universidad Central de Costa Rica y Café Villa Real, presenta el curso “Café Circular: Innovación y Emprendimiento Verde”. Del 1 al 6 de junio, los participantes vivirán una experiencia que combina sesiones presenciales en campus y una inmersión en una finca cafetera en Curití, Santander. Durante el programa, explorarán cómo transformar los residuos del café —especialmente la pulpa— en oportunidades sostenibles, conocerán de primera mano el proceso del café desde la cosecha hasta la cata profesional y trabajarán conceptos de economía circular, sostenibilidad y emprendimiento verde. El plan incluye alojamiento, alimentación parcial y certificado de participación.
