Programs

Program A is an exchange program through which UMAP participating institutions send and receive up to two students with tuition waivers each semester.

Program B is a negotiated bilateral exchange between two institutions that have agreed to exchange more than two students per semester.

Programs A and B follow a timeline that has two application cycles. Programs that are open for application only during the early or First application cycle are marked with .

Programs that are open for application only during the late or Second application cycle are marked with .

Programs that are open for application during both early/late or First and Second application cycles are marked with .

Program C consists of short-term programs of one to eight-weeks, for which tuition may be charged.

Virtual Programs are offered entirely online and may include both short-term and semester-long programs.

Sustainable Design Thinking Summer School Program in Toronto

Centennial College is excited to host this inagural Summer Academy on course! This Faculty-Led International Program (FLIP) equips students with human-centered design approaches while providing invaluable insights into the North American consumer market. This immersive program brings together students from Canada, Denmark and France with others from all over the world in this 2 week course. Teams will develop innovative solutions through design thinking, while gaining hands-on exposure to Canadian consumer behaviors, market trends, and business practices. Tackle real challenges with a Canadian organization as you put design thinking into practice through an immersive case study experience. The aim of this summer school is to develop and train innovative and competent graduates who can create action within sustainability and green transformation. The summer school will teach both sustainability frameworks and train design thinking processes while also developing mindsets that promote transformative learning. The main focus is improving students' ability to take action through an entrepreneurial mindset, utilizing innovative skills like design thinking and sustainability knowledge. Students will work on relevant cases for local companies or communities, following a design thinking process and culminating in prototype solution pitches. Get ready to dive into the North American market, where you'll use sustainable design thinking to spark meaningful change!
