| About Us | Tokai University was founded in 1942. In the following year, it opened Aerial Science College in Shimizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Tokai University was approved by the Japanese government in 1946. In the application submitted to the Ministry of Education states that it will provide an education based on a perspective of historical, national, and global view through integration of humanities and natural sciences, which became the educational philosophy of our university today. Based on this founding ideal and founding spirit set by the founder Shigeyoshi Matsumae, we aim to develop human resources with a broad perspective and flexible creativity; non knowledge-oriented education. As an educational/research institution and as a comprehensive university with campuses nationwide, we will continue to promote educational revolutions, cutting edge researches, and strive to return the results to the society for contributions. | |
