Program Description Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya is dedicated to fostering knowledge and technology through a lens of social and cultural understanding. Indonesia, with its vast array of islands, offers a unique landscape of cultures and traditions, particularly on Java, where over 145 million people live in one of the world’s most diverse communities. This year, through the CommTECH Nusantara with the topic of ‘Voices of Diversity: Exploring Intercultural and Interreligious Conversations in Indonesia,’ ITS seeks to highlight the harmonious coexistence of various ethnicities and religions. Java, known for its rich cultural heritage, showcases how diverse traditions can intertwine, creating a vibrant societal fabric. Participants are invited to explore the foundations of this harmony and learn how mutual respect and understanding can thrive in a multi-faceted community.
