Visa Process | Students who stay at HCMUT for an academic exchange period are required to obtain a study visa before entering Vietnam, following the procedures below. 1. After finalizing and signing a Learning Agreement, HCMUT sends students a visa request form to fill in. 2. HCMUT submits all documents of the students’ study period to the Vietnamese Immigration Department for issuing the Visa Approval Letter. 3. HCMUT will send the Visa Approval Letter + Acceptance Letter to the students. 4. The incoming students submit their visa applications to the Vietnamese Embassy/Consulate in their home country. Notes: - The Visa Approval Letter issued by the Immigration Department will facilitate the visa process and help the students to obtain a visa shortly. - The incoming students had better NOT apply for a tourist visa before receiving the Visa Approval Letter. A tourist visa doesn’t mean for study purposes and will not be accepted for an exchange stay at HCMUT. | |
