Program Description Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and University of New Brunswick (UNB) has partnered together to deliver the UMAP-UBD Biodiversity Conservation Project. This 16-week program provides UNB students with an immersive academic, research, and community engagement experience in Brunei Darussalam, home to one of the world’s most pristine and ecologically diverse tropical rainforests. The program combines interdisciplinary coursework, a research internship, and a community engagement project, culminating in a final project report and presentation. It is designed to build knowledge, skills, and global perspectives on biodiversity conservation and climate change adaptation, while fostering academic diplomacy and collaboration.
