| Program Description | Universidad Autonoma de Occidente (UAO), located in Cali, Colombia, invites international students from UMAP member institutions to participate in its Virtual Academic Exchange Program for Spring 2027. Students may enroll in up to two virtual undergraduate courses, equivalent to a maximum of 6 Colombian academic credits. Each course is generally worth 3 academic credits. Available courses are offered in Spanish in areas such as Business, Communication, Computer and Information Systems, and Engineering. Course availability is subject to academic scheduling, prerequisites, available seats, and approval by the corresponding academic program. Students remain enrolled at their home institution while participating virtually at UAO and should obtain prior academic approval for the recognition or transfer of the selected courses. The program provides access to UAO's virtual learning environment, digital academic resources, faculty interaction, and international student support. Tuition is waived for eligible exchange students. | |

| Additional Program Information | Students may enroll in up to two virtual courses, for a maximum of 6 Colombian academic credits. Applicants must be active students at their home institution, have completed at least three semesters, hold a minimum GPA of 3.5/5.0 or equivalent, and be officially nominated. Courses are taught in Spanish and combine synchronous and asynchronous activities. Tuition is waived; students are responsible only for the applicable Procultura Stamp Tax, approximately USD 9 per 3-credit course.
